Bootman's Preseason Predictions: 3:1
Match 1: Chicago Chimera vs. Carolina Core
Men's Match: BlackMamba vs. OffbeatNinja
I don't even know where to start about this match. The number one and number two guy's from last season will be facing off tonight (which one was number one and which was two? I guess it's a matter of how you perceive reality). This should be the most exciting match of the night, but to be completely honest, I think I might watch Hell's Kitchen instead, and if it's not on yet, I'll cook some risotto in anticipation for the show. Both of these guys are currently 0-2 in the online training camp, and that doesn't make for good spectating if you ask me. I find it absolutely amazing that we haven't really heard or seen from these two since the world finals. Sure they made a cameo at the combine and tickled us with a few challenge matches, but who knows where they're at with their game as of now because of their results. Alright Offbeat, you lost to two rookies that people expect to be on top, but Mamba, you just got beaten by 5th round draft pick Chepelle. Things aren't looking so hot for either of you. Who's going to win this match? Let's ask Mr. George Washington what he thinks...heads it is.
BlackMamba: 5
OffbeatNinja: 3
Women's Match: KasumiChan vs. Mystik

Mystik hopes to take down KasumiChan tonight.
Taking a look at the women's records so far for this match, you'd think that Kasumi has been training with Mamba lately by playing Uno on Xbox LIVE. Kasumi had a very close match with Phoenix during the first week, but was destroyed by Coolsvilla in week 2. Then there is season two hopeful Mystik who had a rough start losing to Vanessa, but was able to flip that around and take out belle with a 5-1 victory using Hayate rather than alternate character Ayane. It looks like the female in this relationship is going to have to saddle up once again and carry this DoA duo to hopefully a victory for the week for Carolina, but we won't know until all is said and done.
Mystik: 5
KasumiChan: 2
Match 2: Dallas Venom vs. 3D.NY
Men's Match: Master vs. Chepelle
Master is the only other DoA male, aside from PerfectLengend that is still undefeated in this training camp, and he hasn't had an exactly easy road either. First he took down World Champ MVP BlackMamba, then continued his streak taking out NinjaCW. There is one thing that Master and Chepelle do share in common though, they both mopped the floor with BlackMamba during this training camp. In this match though, I am going to have to give it to Master, because he isn't holding anything back, even though it's the preseason, and he is going to dominate Chepelle in tonight's match.
Master: 5
Chepelle: 1
Women's Match: Phoenix vs. Coolsvilla

Phoenix hopes to prove once again she earned this jersey.
This will be a very exciting women's match to watch. Coolsvilla and Phoenix are currently both holding a record of 1-1. Both of these ladies are fierce fighters, and it should make for some good watching when this match goes live. Coolsvilla came off of a devastating loss against belle from L.A., and came back with a vengeance to dominate Chicago's KasumiChan, whereas Phoenix is coming off a loss against Vanessa, but in a very close fight. If neither of these ladies are able to take down Vanessa, they are both a very close second in my eyes, and that makes tonights match extremely exciting and I would definitely flake out on Chef Ramsey for this one. I see Phoenix having a little bit more of a drive than Coolsvilla in this one, but it should be very close in the end.
Phoenix: 5
Coolsvilla: 4
Match 3: San Francisco OPTX vs. Los Angeles CompLexity
Men's Match: NinjaCW vs. PerfectLegend
This is one of the most anticipated men's matches of the preseason. NinjaCW and PL are the two rookies to the CGS DoA Male division and both of them have had a very strong training camp so far. PL has managed to go undefeated, while NinjaCW took down OffbeatNinja and had a very close match with Master. Unfortunately, I do believe that NinjaCW will continue the trend of using his secondary Bass, while PL decides that he doesn't care who's watching, he's going to bust out Gen Fu, unless he's feeling funny again and decides to use Hayate, but remember kids, read the disclaimer above.
PerfectLegend: 5
NinjaCW: 2
Women's Match: Vanessa vs. belle

Can Lake's rising start continue his hot streak?
I don't really have much to say about this match, Vanessa's on a hot streak and the last person I expect to end it is belle. Sorry. Vanessa proved in her match against Phoenix that here sheer experience and strategic knowledge of the game, is one of the reasons why she is such a dominate force when it comes to the DoA Women's division. Belle, I know you think that no matter what I predict, I somehow jinx myself and you come out with the opposite results, but unfortunately I don't even think the DoA gods could alter this prediction.
Vanessa: 5
belle: 0
